Seller Insight
We were attracted to Stockfield for the lifestyle it offered us; the rural setting and views were the perfect escape from our busy working lives in London and Europe. It’s like living in your own private world, with everything you need in the village centre at the end of the road.
The house is very well built and the annexe was the best we’d seen – an elderly relative moved in to the annexe alongside us so it was important both homes afforded us all a good quality of life. It worked out perfectly, we all feel very comfortable and safe living here.
The living room is our favourite spot, in summer we have the doors open with uninterrupted views and lovely fresh air while the fire is really cosy in winter, especially at Christmas.
The master suite is wonderful; it’s comfortable, practical and wonderfully spacious. The top floor is similarly ideal for visitors, with two rooms and a bathroom there’s plenty of room and privacy for guests.
We’ve loved watching the seasons change around us; the views of the fields, woods and nature are very relaxing, as are the countryside walks around Stokenchurch. We’ve really had the best of both worlds here – we’re so close to everything we need yet when we’re at home we feel a million miles away.
